Love the new Moment app! Can already tell that it is going to be my go-to for taking photos, and stoked to see how it evolves over time. You def gotta check it out!

So fun to have more control over your photography. App works great. Live the ease of use for adjusting WB and optical macro focus. If youre carrying around 12MP you might as well have the glass to boot! Go ahead #makemoments. I bet you wont regret it.

Love being able to adjust settings on the fly. Which you didnt have to pick only 4 though. Hopefully you can find a way to have all the settings at one time but still as intuitive. Super awesome and easy to use!

Great app, thoughtfully designed, the right controls are available quickly and easily...bottom line is you get great pictures! The case feels great and the lenses are perfect. I love the DSLR-like feel and capability.

This is the ultimate way to take photos on your iPhone. The quality of their products such as the case and lenses speak for themselves, and have really elevated my photography game. Even this app as a standalone offers features such as split exposure and focus, self timer and TIFF exports. This is a highly recommended system and really can unlock your creativity.

it works fine until it doesnt, then it never opens again until I re-instal it...this needs to be fixed, then the rating goes up to a four...even have the lenses and the case as well...really want like it, though...also, a dark mode for the app would be great!

certainly not "feature laden", which is a relief. its in my dock. I dont see any signs where iOS functionality is lost - wish I could get to it from the lock screen. like everybody else I love the simplicity. nothing to add; nevertheless Im sure these folks have more ideas. btw: I wish the grid pattern could be set as a default. maybe Ive not figured that one out. I tested all the manual overrides, and could not think of any more I needed. I strongly recommend testing each one just to make sure youve disabled what needs to be disabled and nothing else. ps: yes, I bought all their hardware--I would never have noticed the app otherwise!!! All of my comments refer to using the app without their case, etc. when I got the case I realized why the app exists: it supports the case as well. but without or without case, its a very useful camera app! Installed the app after I received my first lens for Christmas. Hardware is awesome. Software seemed to work fine. Really like the simplicity. Proceeded to order the case and another lens. Again, hardware works great, but this time the software keeps crashing after my iPhone connects with the case right after you click “enable” to allow permissions for Camera, GPS Location, and Camera Roll. The only fix I can come up with so far is delete the app. Re-download it. Use the app. As soon as I’m done snapping pictures, it’s a rinse and repeat kind of situation. Delete, re-download, open app… bummer. Big bummer and I really hope this bug gets squashed soon.

This takes your iPhone to the next level for point and shoot photo capability! Paired with the case, these lenses can take some fantastic photos! The app is just another extension to better improve that user experience.

Wonderful app for taking photos with your iPhone- especially when paired with the moment case. Some glitches from time to time and would benefit from an exposure length setting.

While I really like the lenses and the case is nice, today was the final straw. I was once again using the app with the telephoto lense to videotape my daughter. Her song was slightly over 4 minutes and when I stopped recording and the app attempted to save the video, the app crashed and the vidoe was lost. This is not the first time I have had issues using the App in video mode so I am done losing precious memories due to technology. Best I can tell, the app works fine in camera mode so I may continue to use it since I also purchased the case and the case only works with the app. I have an iPhone 6 on iOS 9.3 so the app should work. I do want to stress that this disappointment is related to the app and not the lenses. They are very nice and well make. I do wish I could use the case with other apps.

App crashes incessantly. Have to delete and redownload just to use it. I do so because the case only works with the app.

On the video mode, the app crops the video while recording. Therefore you cannot monitor the entire video when recording. This needs to be fixed.

Since a week the camera first works, but when going to settings and then swipe away the app from iOS home screen the app doesnt start anymore but immediately crashes. Bummer.

I bought the walnut Moment case for my new iPhone 6s. Fits like a glove. Hardware is decent, but not perfect. Happy enough with the case, but the app doesnt connect with the case reliably. About 90% of the time, I have to force quit and relaunch the app for it to work with the cases shutter button, resulting in missing the moment (no pun intended). I love what Moment is doing, but right now this is just an expensive case with a useless button. The app itself is decent, but still needs a lot of work. Its a little half baked right now. Im sure itll get better over time. Right now I cannot recommend it based on my own experience. If you want to get the shot, this is not the way to do it.

Ill give one extra star for the photos being able to save and syncing up with my device. Im not the only user that has problems with the video recording being saved. I record a bunch of video from events normally, but this app has ruined my recordings by being able to save sometimes but not all the time. I noticed when it has problem saving video, it has this long circle of delay and then it doesnt save what you just recorded. I know I have enough space on my phone since I take inventory of what I have on my phone before each event, so it wasnt a storage issue.

I love the idea of this app - the setup and ideal functionality - more than the app itself. The fact that I need to reconnect my case AND confirm permissions each time I start the app really destroys the immediacy I look for in phone-based photography. Add to that the fact that its pretty buggy once Im IN the app and, well, not much incentive to use the app over the iPhone app. I enjoy the look and feel of the case and I am excited to get my first lens, but this app and its relationship to the case still need work.

The telephoto lens is great. No noticeable distortion. 60mm focal length greatly improves portraits. The case does a better job, for me, that the stick on holder. I like the more secure feeling lens mount. The bluetooth connection from the case to the phone times out and disconnects after a hour or two of no use. Probably to conserve battery. This leads to the occasional irritating scramble to reconnect the case. Not optimal but not a deal killer. I hope the get Apple to open the API so that the case can control the better featured Apple camera.. Customer service is amazingly responsive and to be commended.
